Nail Fungus Removal

Our Nd;Yag laser by Candela safely yet effectively cures Onychomycosis (toe nail fungus). The laser light penetrates through the nail to create an inhospitable environment. It destroys the fungus and promotes healing for clear nails. This treatment can be used as an alternative to oral medication. It may be combined with medication to ensure termination of the infection.

It is recommended to complete a series of 3 treatments scheduled 4 weeks apart. The total number of treatments needed will depend on the severity of the infection. You will not see results right away, but our patients see improvement by week 8. As the new nail grows; it will show the signs of clearing from the nail bed. This can take from 6-12 months depending on how fast the individual’s nails grow.
